Bad Poetry Alert
And this time it’s not mine!
I got messaged last night by another member of a certain online community that I belong to…. yes. I am an online dater. It’s a great way to weed out people without spending too much time and/or effort. Anyway, this fellow is also a bad poetry expert, although he hasn’t labeled himself as such, and I’m pretty sure he was serious about trying to woo me with his poems. Here’s a line:
“To not feel love ever is colder than death itself”.
I’ll have to take your word for that, fellow.
P.S. This image came up in a Google image search for the above line. It’s oddly appropriate.
Bodhi: If you want the ultimate, you’ve got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It’s not tragic to die doing what you love.
Johnny Utah: To not feel love ever is colder than death itself.
True dat, Johnny Utah, true dat.
